    Amy J. Balko, DVM

    Owner/Veterinarian
    Dr. Amy J. Balko grew up in Champaign, IL where she completed her undergraduate degree in 1986 at the University of Illinois. She has resided in Florida since 1987, and earned her DVM degree at the University of Florida in 1992. Following graduation, she completed an internship at Hollywood Animal Hospital. She then worked as a small animal veterinarian at South Federal Animal Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale for 6 years. Dr. Balko opened Faithful Companions Animal Clinic in Early 2000, where she enjoys caring for her patients in her home community. She lives in Pembroke Pines with her husband, and a Great Dane named Diesel. In her spare time she enjoys vegetable gardening, reading, fishing and watersports with her family.

  • Dr. Judy Koscielniak

    Veterinarian
    Dr. Judy Koscielniak graduated from Michigan State University in 1988 completing her undergraduate degrees in microbiology and medical technology. Originally from Michigan she relocated to the Tidewater area of Virginia and practiced small animal and emergency medicine for several years. Later she and her family moved to South Florida in 1998. Here at Faithful Companions Animal Clinic Dr. Koscielniak continues her interests in preventive medicine, ophthalmology and soft tissue surgery. She keeps busy with her two wonderful daughters, two dogs, a bird and a busy husband. In her spare time she enjoys reading, butterfly gardening and spending time with friends.
